K&L Gates Warsaw managing partner Maciej Jamka has been elected vice-president of the board of the Polish National Committee of the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce). The ICC, established in 1919, is a non-governmental organization made up of thousands of companies as well as industrial and commercial chambers from more than 130 countries. The ICC represents global business before governments and international organizations, sets the rules for international commercial transactions and also deals with international commercial arbitration.
It is an association of autonomous and independent National Committees – ICC Poland is one of the ICC’s national committees and consists of leading companies and business associations in Poland. National committees shape ICC policies and alert their governments to international business concerns.
